So Close...

I am so close to being done for this year. Everyone else is panicking about getting all their work done and perfecting everything, but I am not. Maybe I should be....but instead I went and got the first iced coffee of the summer at my favorite café Vanilla Black. Hands down best iced coffee, and the cupcake even had glitter on it. Fancy. 

Summer Look

I found these cherry blossom macarons in Martha Stewart Wedding. They look so delicious and light. 

I was feeling creative today so I whipped up a cute little skirt with some Amy Butler fabric. It turned out better than I thought it would, I'll put pictures up soon. 

Soup

Egg drop soup. I was a little skeptical at first, eggs in water makes me nervous, unless they are just hard boiled, but only have a few items for a little bowl of soup, my friend decided to open the doors to the world of eggs...in soup. I am completely converted. It is such a good flavor and texture and so yummy. Off to make some more!

Boule

This is starting to become a very food based blog. Delicious. I have been in a bread mood lately and decided to make some (relatively) easy bread. After rising for 20 hours total and baked in a pot (for real) I was the proud owner of a perfectly delicious boule. crusty outside, soft inside. Needless to say I have been through half of it already. I'm going to need a lot more flour.

Monkey

I recently made monkey bread and I can't even tell you how delicious it was. It was demolished before it even cooled.

Very Very Bad

I was a very bad christmas elf today. I went to The Lighthouse art gallery today and had a beautifully inexpensive lunch. Tomato and herb soup with bread and then the most delicious cake. Then I went shopping around, there was this beautiful store that I could have sold my soul in...so I left quickly. So many cute stores, especially T.M. Lewin which has the most beautiful shirts and cufflinks, and Wittard has the most beautiful tea and of course I had to get a candycane.

Found a great store....bublegum pink and only sells candy. perfect. good for the late nights at the studio.

On the way back it seems i could only focus on the shops that had food.....so we decided to stop at a really good soup place. I had the carrot ginger soup. warm and yummy.

then there was the ducati store. i just couldn't say no to that.

Chippies

First chips. Went to get some groceries today....hilarious. Drinking a lot of tea and still very chilly. Oh, my student association is a bar.

So about 3 weeks ago I became an addict. Drug of choice? Marshmallows. With peanut butter, chocolate, banana, Nutella, hot chocolate, even plain. I could not stop. I forced myself into rehab and quit cold turkey.....cold marshmallow? This picture may just give me a relapse.
